Our door rope gasket kit has the correct density of rope needed to make the correct seal. If your rope is too soft it will not seal properly. This rope we have been suing for years and it has the proper length of rope for your large door. Most kits only contain 6 ft of rope, this one contains 8 ft. The hi- Temp silicone is also the same silicone you need to reseal your cage nuts on the back of the firewall.
